Here's a link to a picture of the "light" color (which I think you have): http://e-partssales.com/Merchant2/me...ry_Code=996exc

Here's a link to the "dark" color: http://e-partssales.com/Merchant2/me...ry_Code=996exc

Even in pictures, the "dark" looks considerably darker than "light". If you check the options sticker on the back side of the front hood (luggage compartment) your local dealer should be able to tell you exactly what options you have (including "light" versus "dark" wood trim).
Thanks for the links and pics Alpha !

Is this a reliable website to order from ? Their prices seem alot cheaper than what I would expect for those pieces. Are they original ? Is there any way to tell for sure ?

Thanks again for your help

Wow wow wow....thats gorgeous !

The only CF trim i've seen in real life was in a black interior and it looked really gross and cheap, but this interior combo is absolutely gorgeous ! I'm really shocked...

I guess its more about the combo you pic out

Ramone -- I haven't ordered anything from Suncoast, but I assume that their items are Porsche OEM Tequipment, since they are a Porsche dealer.

BartN -- Did you notice that Ajax1964's beautiful extensive CF trim is on a Tip car? I'm not trying to stir anything up -- I just think that everyone should buy what they like, and enjoy what they have. I am only trying to provide some information to a fellow 6speeder, without judgements.

If that is the case. Their prices are quite reasonable. I'm pleasantly surprised

When I bought my car 2 years ago, it had the full dark burl wood grain interior. Here is a link to when I bought her.

Click on pic on first post.

I thought it looked nice....initially, but was thinking that I bought a sports car, not a Lexus. So after alot of ebaying, buying parts from Sharky and other 6 speeders, I changed all parts to carbon fiber.

Also if anyone has a CF shift **** with the Turbo script for sale...please let me know. (Last part I need)

Wood is rare in porsches for a reason ;

I know some people like it, but I just don't understand wood in a sports car...in a lexus, or benz or bentley, sure...looks great. Old world charrm and sophistication...like the oak room at the ritz. But in a sports car I want light weight high tech materials. Just my opinion...since you asked.

i just don't like the fact they all start to crack when aged. pain in the *** when the car has no warranty - replacements are expensive.

Very true. The wood on my '95 MB C220 (4 cyl, 147hp!, 4-sp automatic ) started to crack a few years after I bought it (new), and the wood can delaminate from the plastic backing. But I've heard that similar things can happen with the CF trim pieces as well. I'm thinking of real aluminum trim in the future ...
