Tom,

This is the case....

Let me know how you make out... Also call me if you need any info on Joe V. at Germen Tech... I have dealt with Joe many times.

Tom,

I don't know as much about the 911, but my BMW had a similar problem at one point. The culprit was an ICV, idle control valve. It was fine when it idled, but clutch in meant the revs dropped and the engine stalled.

Just a thought

Justin

sorry for the offtopic, but does anyone know if the Ocala dealer is any good? i will be returning "home" in 2 days and the car needs a few things worked on (fix sunroof & possibly track down some electric gremlins.) the Ocala dealer is closest to my parents' house.

didn't even know they had one there.... didn't think that area would have the volume to support a pcar dealer.

We like to vacation on Siesta Key. I think I was at the Sarasota dealer seven times last year to buy upgrades and stuff. Absolutely great bunch of people!

Did they try the MAF yet?

carendt242 - If you are saying Ocala and it is actually Gainsville - DO NOT STOP - horrible service and sales - lots of very bad reports - keep going South to REEVES (Tampa) or SUNCOAST (Sarasota).

Sorry for the threadjack. Yes, there's an official Porsche dealer in Ocala on rt. 200 right near I-75. It's called All Pro Imports. I've been to the dealer quite often and driven several cars. Never had anything serviced there. Small dealer. I've gotten friendly with one of the salesguys. I almost bought a car there but ended-up finding the one I wanted in Dallas.

Exclamation stalling

Does the car do this when you don't push in the clutch, I mean will it just run @
idle speed with no probs. The reason I ask is I had a similar prob but mine happened also @ idle and I thought it was the iav or the tps however there was no cel (this is what is prob throwing the stealer, I mean dealer off). Any how turns out mine was sucking in air that was not being metered by the maf and causing the stalling tightned up the leak and wahla ! no more stalling. Fwiw most
times when a car stalls it's air or gas too much or too little, in my case it was too much unmetered air. MY car is a 99 s/c c2 (kit purchased from vivid installed by me). i know this was long, forgive?

Didn't you get your ECU flashed immediately before the problem occured? Have you tried flashing back to stock?
