black wheels..

anyone have advice on painting wheels black. powdercoating/painting is one option but i am wondering about utlizing a truck bed coating aerosol paint like duplicolor. would a paint spray-on hold or would the spray polymer wear off. check this out...www.archeryproshop.com/hummer.htm

I would try to avoid the truck bed painting. I am not exactly sure what type of coating you are talking about, but I would think it would add more weight to the wheel resulting in decreased performance whereas a paint adds only a tiny bit more weight. Is this coating you are talking about the type of gritty coating used in bedliners?

Dr.Bill, I don't think that will be permanent. You might as well powdercoat, very durable and relatively inexpensive.
