GT2 and the TT have the same offsets in the rear(45mm). The TT is narrower by 1/2" on each side.

The GT2 has a more aggressive front offset by 10mm(+/-3/8"). The TT (8.0"/50mm et)wheel is 1/2 narrower, but with the GT2'S offset and width the GT2 wheel (8.5"/40mm et) extends 5/8" wider from hub centerline out and 1/4" less from the hub center in than the TT wheel.

I believe the narrower TT wheels fit a GT2.

Is fender rolling needed to run the 12's in the rear if you are not at the track? Who does the rolling?

Just to poke around on the street they will fit fine but may rub the fender liner. As for the rolling it is you or a body shop.Kevin

If it rubs it's going to rub. You should get your fenders rolled if you any combo that rubs..

Sorry for the late chime in was out of town!!
Just my experience, I run the GT2 wheels (no spacers or anything) with the 235/315's. I have had both MPS2's and cup tires. As you can see by the avitar my car is as low as it can be. I personally have NO problems all. Although the GT2 has the rear fenders rolled at the factory ours do not and do not (by my experience) need to.
Remember also I run -1.75 rear camber. The car is both street and track driven (hard) and no problems. those wheels are an awesome track wheel and can be had for 1-1.5K.
Also remember they are solid not hollow so somewhat heavier.
I love them. (Your results may vary)

Can only speak for the ones I have. I was told it was to "handle" the increased torque and power of the GT2 car.

All GT2 wheels from '02 to '03 were solids. They went hollow spokes when they changed to the GT3 style in '04-'05.

I have 245s and 335 RA1s on 8.5x18 & 12x18 BBS wheels cut to GT2 specs. The top of my fenders are 25.5" off the ground with -1.4' camber front and back.

Rears need to be rolled & plastic inner fender liners need to be heat gunned and flattened back. MPSC or PS2s are easier to fit. If you have a good jack, air socket and heat gun you are set. This job can easily be done at home.

I have a set of 04 GT2 wheels and they are very heavy, are you sure they are hollow? I don't recall the back sides of the spokes were dished out.
