I've been posting to various online car forums for about ten years now. It started when I was forced to discover the internet in order to complete my PHD dissertation long distance. While waiting for results to run on some old mainframe 2000 miles away, I found all kinds of cool stuff related to cars. My car at the time was a twin turbo RX7, which caught fire and burned - hence my first use of the net for car purposes. Using the net, I was able to find others with burned up 7s and we got some action out of Mazda. We eventually got our money back and they were forced to do two recalls to fix the problems.
Since then, I've had to use the internet daily in my work. So, while I chug away at my research (now for my own independent stock/equity research business) I frequently find myself waiting for the computer to finish crunching nos and head to the car forum for whatever I'm currently driving. It's always been a great help. For example, it's how I found EVO, and an extra 220 HP for my new 996TT.
But, how the heck do others find time to do this?
(Admittedly, I've got fears of my employees f@rting aroung on basketweaving.forums.com, beergut.hunters.forum.com, and myemployersucks.com).
Yours in speed, mayhem, hopefully humor, and other car stuff,

I make some posts while I'm eating lunch using a Sony VAIO PictureBook with a Sprint PCS Vision data radio card.

I haven't got time at the moment.
Seriously. It helps owning the company. But, for me I am normally e-mailing for my sport on the evenings, I then drop in to see what's happening.

I usually take my laptop (wireless access) with me while I wait in the welfare line. Perfect time and place (just waiting for my check you know) to post on all the car forums.

Portions of my day are spent reading automotive web boards. I just got paid to read and reply to this post.
Who can top that?

Saw the European Car mag which featured the 2 Audi moded cars and it looked pretty impressive especially the Black one.
The black car makes well over 400hp on 93 octane. It is a total hoot to drive. Four wheel burnouts in a station wagon!
It slowly pulled on our unchipped 996TT on the highway. Now that the Porsche is chipped it's a different story.
If you are looking for a 400+ horsepower grocery getter, it's the car to have.
The silver car in the article with the wing has run an 11.91 on race fuel. No nitrous! The car dyno's at 550hp at the crank.
