Hmm, I'm not sure that I like the flushness of the headlights to the fender. The pronounced bulge of the 996 gave it a mean stance. Just my 2psi...

I agree, back to the 993. Wonder why Porsche is taking this route. I wasn't a fand of the 996 lights until the turbo came out. I really like those lights.

Guess lots of people will be waiting for the 998.

I think the 996 turbo lights are absolutely gorgeous and I can't believe they are going retro.

Ouch! I thought It resembled some sort of BUG

Ironically, when the VW New Beetle first came out, I thought it resembled the 993s without the HID, especially at night. Now, it looks like Porsche took a step backward to mimic an evolutionary form of the Beetle's face.

I think that the 996TT has the best light to modern date! Is the 998 heading towards the CGT light cluster?

All I can say is that I am very happy that I took the plunge on my 996TT X-50....

To me, it's a deja vu from what happened to the Viper last year. Very unique and exotic looking car for almost 10 years, and then they redesign it in '03 and made it look like a Honda/Acura hybrid.

The current 996 is far more aesthetically pleasing!!

Maybe once the 997 comes out the prices on the used 996s will rise!!
