996 Stage IV 600 hp
Does anyone have any advice on what price range I could sell my 2003 996 Stage IV for? It has over $50,000 in performance upgrades and only 3900 miles. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks

Honestly you will be much better off selling the mods and returning the car for stock. The best thing to do is trade aftermarket parts for stock parts plus cash. You will get much more money overall if you take the time to do this.

There has been GT2's with full GT700 kits going for 115k - 140K +/-, those cars had original MSRP's of 180K++

I got your email. The car is perfect for me. I think you could get more for it parting it but at what cost in time. I don't want to insult you but the market has really tanked over the last 60 days. I am interested at 90k. Dont want to insult you but you can ask what others have sold cars with 50k in mods for. If you look at the post above he sold his before the drop and only got 96k. Yours does have extremely low miles obviously. They have to bottom soon but I would hate to be needing to get out of one right now. I was bidding on an 03 X50 Porsche cert from a Porsche dealer. I had a 3rd party inspect it and it was extremely clean. They have put it up on ebay three times now and have hinted that they would now take 6k less than they wanted only 3 weeks ago because buyers like me are pulling back. It is just like watching the bid side in the markets. Educated buyers know that there is a big surplus of cars even with low miles and nice mods and that supply is getting larger by the day as owners move on to 997tts and other cars. The bid side is getting lowered but the buyers are continuing to let it drop without picking up the inventory. I am not posting this with the idea that you will sell me the car low but I am being honest as someone who has anxiously watched the market for 3 months closely. If you have the time you can part the car and sell it for low 80s IMO plus what you make on the mods. That may get you close to the 100k mark but if not you need to be prepared for the right buyer or someone who is not watching on here and may not know the market as well. Just my .02. Hope I didn't insult you in any way because that was not my intent. The only reason I wanted to post this here rather than PM or email is so that you would hopefully get other opinions on what I am stating to help you make an informed decision.
Thanks everyone for the input
I really do appreciate your honesty and no I'm not inulsted one bit. An avid Porsche race car driver (as a hobby anyways) in Illinois actually is buying my car. He contacted me within 12 hours of the post. He is buying it for 97,800 and I'm throwing some other parts in as well. He also wasn't interested in the stereo so I'm taking that out and putting the stock one back in. He has already placed a 5,000 deposit and is flying down Sunday to take the car. We are both lucky in the fact that I'm getting a fair price and he is getting a bad *** 911.
