Group letter? Power of numbers or can of worms?

Has this board ever sent a group letter to PCNA or Porsche AG asking for policies on 2 gear pop out, or any other common problems ? Would this be a bad idea?

It seems they stepped up big time on RMS problems, so kudos to them for that. I would love the rattles fixed for free, is that asking too much
