But of course. This car needs some ghetto style of its own-- it's too pretty right now.

You should but a Turbo body kit on it and hide it... I'll give you my turbo warts bumper! No paint needed..

I am still debating whether I should put the red nose ring in the front bumper.
It'd be sick... Imagine seeing a GT2 with a 2001 warts turbo aerokit drifting around like a GT2 hehe. You should do it when you go and race those GT2 guys in the Canyons making them wonder what's wrong with their cars...
hahaha... actually, it's the Turbo owners that would trip when they see the tail being kicked out so easily.
when they ask me what kind of suspension i'm running, i can truly say "STOCK"

tyson,
you just need to put on your gold chains when in the Valley, does your rig have Prada guards?

I've driven (once) and enjoyed the GT2, but considering road conditions where I'd keep it (Dallas) the TT suits me better (OK, OK, the rear wheel drive and lack of PSM scared the bejezus out of me).
While the GT2 may be more "tuned" from the factory, can anyone argue it's not "less" car? No 4-wheel drive, no sunroof, etc etc. I would venture to say Porsche's cost to produce the GT2 is less than the TT. Thoughts?

The fear is mostly psychological, it scared the living hell out of me too until I gradually started thinking less about it.
It is indeed possible that the GT2 may cost less to produce and are higher margin due to the "exclusivity." However, the suspension components are much different, it comes with PCCB standard, has a more complex cooling system, different aerokit, and there are certain GT2 only parts that have to be made for such a small batch of cars. Once you have a Turbo loaded up with X50 and PCCB, the prices on the two cars start to converge.
As Chad once said, upgrading a Turbo to a GT2 suspension costs a lot of $$, and Porsche probably knows this, though they have not done a good job with marketing the GT2. I think this car will be a cult classic like some of the other limited production cars in Porsche's history once people actually understand the car and are aware of its differences.

mjc,
please go search for the list of changes GT2 from TT that Chad posted a while ago, you will amazed..
the Gt2 is basically a different car. this is not evident from the surface. but it sure is evident on the track.
you can read that list and research comments and driving reports on the gt2... but just like Tyson/hamann, you will not get IT, until you own one!!
Tyson knows i have been suggesting one to him for some time, but like many TT Tuner Bunnies [these guys are my friends, you understand], he was SO sure he was SO THERE and GT2's SO lame.... until he got one, and the scales fell off his eyes, and now he SO gets it.
But also search Chad's comments on suspension: GT2 has it and TT needs mucho $$$$ to reach the suspension performance of a GT2, or GT3.
Slide thru traffic at 1/2 throttle and you'll feel the difference!!!! Pound the track and you'll feel like writing a cheque.

Tyson has a point...A good example is the turbo aerokit chin which costs more then the front itself!! the price is like that to spread the development cost over the small number of cars that get this part....
Also, I have the NECESSARY footwell lighting LOL...what a ripoff for $700+!! LEss of a ripoff than the X50 though...
