my current after market diverter vs are quite loud when i shift at the correct rpms, a very neat whoos sound.. (love it) are other dvs louder are are they all about the same?

 

i have the evom ones there not loud but i can hear it sometime when gassing it harder in higher gear at low rmp and of course with the radio off and it does sound cool. i thought about taking the return hose off but i dont know if the car would run weird

Steve, do you have V-flow? When I have EVO DVs, they make no sounds, but after V-flow installed. I heard the whoos sound sometime.

 

in a word-no.

 

it's probably not your DV's. they recirc excess pressure back into the intake. none of it is vented into the atmosphere. it is a closed system. it's probably your intake or something else.

 

Steve.. it's a combo of your intake and dv's... letting off the gas etc.. you'll hear some noise yeps

 

the wooosh only comes when i up shift at high rpms kevin told me to listen for the woosh . if the car was running correctly that is what i would hear. just wondered if any brand dv was louder than the other

Weird, i have it and with V-Flow and never hear it, only slightly when radio is turned down, not loud by any means though?!

 

it's not real loud , but you have to be in it and at the correct rpms ... very neat sound ... me thinks it's your motor saying thanks that felt good (or was that good sex)
