Lord knows I've tried to be as outspoken as I can about certain issues (OEM MAF MAX reading = 550ish HP yet is still part of a 700 HP package). I don't see alot of guys up in arms about this issue - do you? Why not offer the same level of *** kissing to all to the new kid on the block? The hypocricy of it all seems a little unbelievible.

Kevin come to my house and let's play turbo swapping on the floor. I'll bring UMW, 9ff cars, EVO cars, Ruf cars, SharkWerks-Fied, Protomotive cars and virtually any other tuned car and we'll play "let's guess the turbo combo, power range, delivery and balance"
Besides isn't it about time you came down here and had a drink with CJV and me

One thing... Mr. Stephen from Imagine Auto, would you do me a favor and give me the parameters of your Mustang Dyno by email. Since you have done many successful dynos and people trust you, I would like to compare our setups.
I can but I calibrate my machine about every 60 days so my numbers change. I know it is a pain in the **** but it is the only way to ensure it has not gotten lax on numbers.
I am sort of **** about my accuracy of numbers. I will email them tomorrow send me a PM with the email address.
I a 2001 Ruf R Turbo converted in 2001 by the German techs, pre Ruf Dallas. At that time the 520 kit was all that was available and it consisted of a replacement cast intake (larger than stock) and a large hose to flow more air to the turbos, ECU, modified K-16 turbos and exhaust.
2 years later they came back and converted my car to a 550 and that inlcuded a different cast intake (larger), revised ECU program and modified K-24 turbos.
So if the car dyno'd had K-16's it was a 520 kit, not a 550. My car was dyno's at GIAC on the 4 wheel dyno (520 kit) and it made 403 hp at the wheels and 447 ft lbs of torque. They indicated a 25% drivetrain loss, so they felt the car was making 537 hp and 596 ft lbs of torque. They were impressed with the power and the very clean curve (no holes in it).
30,000 miles on the car and no problems on it to date.

Using ridiculously high drivetrain loss percentages like that are simply a tuners way of optimitistically skewing actual flywheel HP numbers.
A car putting 402 HP to all 4 wheels is making in the 490-500 flywheel HP range.

It will be a blast and people from all over the country will be here for some fun. The track is local and we will have it all to ourselves so all will get more than enough runs! This way, we can see how these cars trap and hopefully we can add a few more cars to the 1/4 and trap speed lists.
