Any Coilover install directions online?
They install in the reverse order you removed you original suspension. Of course you'll need a spring compressor to remove your old strut mounts and to install them on your new suspension and basic handtools.
Well, I kind of figured they would install in the reverse order. The problem I am having is I dont know how the fronts come out. There is nothing online that shows how to remove them. My question is, does the axle need to be removed or the lower ball joint torn apart? The strut will not drop down enough for it to be removed.

Suspension removal
Remove wheel.
If your car is AWD, remove axle nut now.
Remove lower ball joint to hub assembly nut.
Remove tie rod to hub assembly nut.
Remove ABS and brake sensor wires and connections from hub assembly.
Remove bolt that holds the sway bar link to the hub assembly.
If your car is AWD, pull axle out of hub assembly while removing hub assembly.
The hub assembly is removed by sliding it down the end of the strut.
Unbolt strut mount from inside trunk by removing the trunk plastic and the three 13mm nuts that hold the mount to the chassis.
Now you will need the spring compressor to remove the strut mount from the strut assembly.
Upon assembly of new suspension, compress the new spring on the new strut.
Reinstall all spacers, washers, and strut mount in the reverse order you removed them.
Thread the nut back on the new strut, while holding the strut from turning with the appropriate allen socket. Usually this is a 6mm.
Never let the strut turn in the strut housing.
Now just reinstall on car in the reverse order.
If you don't have a ball joint removal tool, you can usually rent one from a local parts store. It looks like a pickle fork, only with a lower jaw that pushes on the threaded side of the ball joint while you thread a bolt through the handle portion of the tool. It will generally pop the joint out of the upright as you thread the bolt through the tool. Air tools help, but are not necessary.
There ya have it.
