Question for the programers???

What does Neil, Todd or any other programers think of this?? These are the guys who won at 24 hours of Daytona .... very interesting??

The TPC/Uni-Q with PnP(Plug n Play) technology is TPC Racing’s new and revolutionary approach to engine management. Developed by DASTEK, the maker of Unichip, based on their known innovative concept now combined with cutting edge electronic hardware.

TPC/Uni-Q is available as an option* for any vehicle equipped with TPC Racing supercharger kit and most turbocharged vehicles. TPC/Uni-Q consists of a piggy-back computer with 106,496 precisely tuned adjustments, making its sophistication unmatched. All this electronic information is routed through a true “Plug n Play” wiring harness** that simply plugs into the factory ECU. TPC/Uni-Q differentiates itself from other methods of aftermarket engine management by delivering 100% of the available power from your engine’s entire rpm band, 100% of the time without interfering the factory ECU’s cold start, knock sensors, coolant and air temperature sensors, oxygen sensors, pressure and altitude correction tables, or anything else the car manufacturer spent years on developing. TPC/Uni-Q works in harmony with the factory ECU in “closed-loop”, unleashing the best possible performance from your engine’s mechanic design without compromising drivability under any driving condition and environment.

This is the Uni-chip. Do a search. They are not a wise choice. Why would you add a computer to a computer. That makes no sense. You are adding data on top of data and jamming the ECU from doing what it wants to do...That is never a good thing and is techonolgy of the 80s.

I can attest to that. I built an engine for a street rod in the early 90's and piggy-backed a computer onto the GM ECU. It was a nightmare and never worked properly. Ended up having Lingenfelter burn a chip and all was well.

Same here piggy backs try to fool the oem ECU to do what it wants. I too have had a couple bad experiences with piggy back garbage!
