Texas 996 TT is infamous around these parts
Going to GIAC Flashed Thursday - 6Speedonline made me do it!

Hello everyone,

I am such a newbie but after reading all about the mods, aftermarket extras, and never ending addictive projects, I think am going to suck it up and do a stage one. I know most of you are saying "BIG Whoop" but I bought a 03 996 TT with 9K for my weekend car and I am already falling into the addiction. I am so weak!

If I decide to do a stage one with GIAC Flash and new diverter valves.- Do I really need to add the THE V-FLOWCOLD AIR INDUCTION?

I am hoping for a noticable improvement, hope I dont regret------

Thanks in advance for any insight..

Tom,

Your first few mods should be the following:

GIAC
Exhaust (hopefully ours)
Diverter Valves (hopefully ours)
BMC Panel filter or EVOMS CAI.

More info can be found here:

Good luck and congrats!

Flash will wake up the TT. I suggest to do exhaust before V-flow. Life start at 1.0bar and you will never look back

Tom,
Don't feel so bad, you're not alone. I've own a '04TT since Aug. and next week she's going in for the GIAC Flash, AWE exhaust, SSK. Did the suspension and wheels upgrade already. It's pure addiction because this beast is sooo mod friendly and full of potential.

Congrats,

Great software choice,
I would suggest doing an exhaust and BMC air filter and not doing or post poning the
V-flow after other more "urgent mods" are taken care of.

Have fun!

Marty
