2001 Twin Turbo or 2003 C4S

Looks like by the end of the week I might be out the two P-Cars currently preventing my wife from putting her car in our garage...

I am contemplating the next move and have it down to the following:

-2001 996 Twin Turbo
or
-2003 996 C4S

Cars have roughly the same mileage the Turbo is a little more but within what I want to spend.

I would like opinions with hopefully the reasons behind what you would choose.

Thank You in advance.

i had the same decision last year and ended up getting the 4S (choose between a newer year low mileage 4S or older year higher milage turbo), but i kindof regret it now. turbo is just so much more fun and so much more potential in modifying the car =P

Turbo hands down. More torque, power in general and mod ability. If miles are the same, then maintinence probably is not going to be much different either (short of blowing an engine or something extreme)

I had the same decision 2 years ago. Went with the 996TT. No regrets at all. The C4S would bore me after a few months.

Imagine driving down the interstate in your new C4S.
In the passing lane.
Then being flashed to move over by a 996TT.

Now imagine some jerk in an M6 flashing you.
Except YOU have a 996TT.
And it's modified.

Help?

I've always felt that awd on a normally aspirated 911 takes away the playfulness of the car. On the other hand, the awd on the turbo is more like a necessity to handle the extra power.

That said, my friend who has a 4S in Germany is so in love with the all weather capability of his car.

Anyway, get the Turbo. You can't beat the rush.

Blowing them up also...
