0.0 psi BOOST

Sorry...I posted this in the Parts Sales section earlier... Yeah, when I look at my computer, the boost shows 0.0 psi
Obviously, this is not normal...how do you guys get boost readings? Is it through another gauge? Silly question, I know...

its on the instrument cluster.... u have to scroll to it. Otherwise u can hook up a vacuum line with a analog guage to either ur diverter valves or on the right side of the Y pipe near the Throttle body/...

Markski, that's what I'm talking about...on the instrument cluster, the boost only shows 0.0psi. I've never seen it indicate any boost pressure...do you think something is not hooked up correctly or something is broken?

Something is definitely not right there. You should be seeing .7 on a stock '01 under WOT. Probably just something is disconnected.

Do you feel the car is making boost but not showing it on the gauge? You do know you have to be driving with you foot hard on the gas to make boost don't you?

JWC, that is interesting...I realize that boost must be created in order to register on the gauge. I'm just not sure if any boost has registered on the gauge when boost is created...I will double check. Thanks!

Boost at speed

I assume you have driven the car @ over 75MPH - I will register some boost at any acceleration over that speed 0.1 at least.

If you see 0.0 boost and are accelerating hard then something is wrong - hopefully just electronics.

Good luck
