light and strong wheels for GT2

what do you guys recommend? looking at fikse 10, but concerned they're not strong enough for my bumpy roads. what do you guys advise? car will be mostly canyon slamming on bumpy roads, occssional rocks down... not a smooth track

thanks

Watt,

I have Fikse Profil 10's and I think our "conditions" are very similar. I have had not trouble with them. They are light, look good, and seem strong. I have heard that the new Profil series from Fikse is both lighter and stronger than their older designs.

Kinesis has a new 1 piece forged wheel for the Turbo , so far in 19" ( 8.5/11.5")sizes only, but they are only 18lb/20 lbs F/R - pretty amazing for 19 " wheels which are usually more like high 20 lbs range in that diameter/width in the 3 piece forged centers like HRE.
Why don't you see if they 'll make some 18" in the GT2 sizes ?
I prefer 1 pieced forged for the road . They are much stronger vertically vs the real dangers like potholes , not high g loads laterally like on the track. The 3 piece wheels' weak point is always the rim halves - they bend easily on potholes - not a big deal for race wheels .

They don't make these wheels (unlike their 3-piece modular offerings) and aren't sure they will offer these wheels in 18".

BTW, these wheels are made for Kinesis by a Japanese manufacturer -- the same one that makes Champion's 1-piece forged wheels, I believe.

Another vote for Kinesis, but I would not do those 1 piece forged in 19" for the GT2. I would order up some K18's, K28's, or K58's in standard 18" size... not the reverse centers either.
