I have a 2001 996TT with a Stage 4GT 640 kit (640 HP), What clutch is the best for this application ?. I have been givin several differen't opinions. Stage 2 LWFW, Stage 2 Dual Mass, I would like some input from the guys driving with these.

Any help would be appreciated

I have Sachs Motorsports Heavyduty Pressure Plate (stage 2) and GT3 clutchdisk and LWFW. Got it from Kevin @ultimatemotorwerks.

I will be driving the car daily, do either of you notice any noise at idle, etc with your clutches?.

 

What clutch is in your 03 Evo 8?.

 

There is chatter at idle (which is amplified w/AC on), but if you engage the clutch it goes away. I have gotten used to it, but if little sounds bug you (like it seems so many do on this site)...you may not want it. The response and ability to handle high hp is what you need.

 

I agree I already have a Fabspeed exhaust that "drones", I guess a little chatter isn't the end of the world.

Did you go with dual mass flywheel?.
