I am apologizing ahead of time for the stupid queston and lack of information.

I have been talking and reading and learning the the month that I have owned my 996tt, but I still don't know for sure the differences between the GT2, GT3 and TT. The price differences are astronomical and I wasn't clear as to why.

GT3 is non turbo. GT2 is compared to a TT like a GT3 is to a C2. Both GT2 and GT3 are much more performance oriented than the regular turbo and non-turbo versions. I am sure there are people on here that can give you better details.

 

GT2 and GT3 are both rear wheel drive and have no traction control or PASM. They have no rear seats, no sunroof and sport factory coilover suspension. 299-304 GT2's were made for the us from 02-05. Around 900 GT3's were produced for the US in 04-05. Hp for the GT2 is 456 for 02-03 models 482 for 04-05. Hp for the GT3 is 381.

 

GT-2 Two wheel drive, TT four wheel drive. GT-2 limited production, TTs - they made a LOT of them.
