Yea i saw this GT2 up for a while now, has some sick upgrades but i wouldnt buy it! I would love to see more about this though!

Talk about a freaking monster! As much as I would llike it, there is no way I am shelling out $139k for it!

 

I'm looking for a GT2 and this seems well put together. Out of curiosity, why wouldn't you buy it?

 

Just too much done IMO, overpriced and not enough info about it! IMHO, go with this Prototec car, i was going to buy it but came across the perfect car for me. Stu wants to sell and will give t away at an awesome price, they are good guys, not pushy and real helpfull! I did lots of research about this car, its very fast, put together real well and runs hard!

Didn't RUF just have a 550 GT2 for 99k?

It's always scary buying a modified car. You never know what the previous owner did, how they drove it, etc... It's pretty well known that mods do not usually add to resale, but I suppose if you really want a 9FF modified car, and you get good deal on this one....

It's always up to the buyer of course. I would drive a hard bargain.

 

I would simply do your homework, as there are a number of GT2's out there available for sale with a variety of modifications. If they are well done you are getting a great bargin, as you will pay a little more than a stock car, but pay very little compared to what the modifications cost. Knowing the seller and the cars history is important.

I would not be concerned in buying a car with modifications if you can verify who did them and that they were done right. You get what you pay for, unless you buy a used GT2, then you get a lot more than you paid for!

Jeff thanks man, and yea i snatched up the RUF quick. The car was a steal and everything is great, even if it were 120 i would have bought it!

 

Congrats and welcome to the GT2 club, it is about time! I had a Ruf R Turbo before my GT2 and loved it, their mods really work! The GT2 is simply awesome!

J thankyou very much, it was way overdue Anyway which RUF did you have? 520/550/590? I hear they are freaky fast all around, just so different from other cars powerband wise and so on.

Im sure this GT2 will keep me happy, my previous car kept me happy everytime i got in, just wasnt what i wanted, still loved it and LOVE Porsche
