Planning my garage and wondering: has anyone tried to paint a checkered floor using ucoat it? It would be substantially cheaper than using the rubber tiles. I was considering first painting the floor white, then taping it off and doing contrasting squares in black. Is this worth the effort???

 

just remember that the black sections will absorb light. if you want your garage to be bright and usable, paint it white or light grey.
