I'm definitely interested in a NY area dyno. I'm not sure if going to just "any" place with an AWD dyno is a good idea. Shouldn't we choose a place that has some knowledge of Porsche's? If I recall correctly, the AWE tuning dyno day was a success. Maybe go there again??

I agree with Mark L. I would not take the car to a place that hasn't done Turbo's before and i think there are some concerns about dynoing with the AWD. I'm sure the guys at AWE could offer some advice, but it's a hike there and personally, i wouldn't drive that far just to dyno.

I would be interested in a NY dyno day. Would it be possible to use a shop closer to the border, i would be coming from Toronto. I would love to see what my EVO stage IV is putting to the ground!
Will we have someone on site to disconect, and reconect the front differential?

Red Devil-
We are located roughly 30 minutes north of Philly. The drive from NYC is about 2 hours. Is this closer than you thought?
Here are some FAQ's about our facility and our dyno.

Here is a post from the original dyno day that we did.

Let me know if you guys want to set something up.
We are also just about to release our exhaust and the Stage 2+ GIAC chip for the 996TT.
Thanks.

If our dyno is used, there is no need to disconnect the driveshaft. It is an AWD chassis dyno with mechanically linked rollers.
All of the wheels will spin at the same speed. There will be no stress to the drivetrain.
Here is a link to some dyno videos.

It's not as far as I thought Mike, but still too far for me. I'd like to do it but if I don't find one in Nassau, Suffolk or Queens it won't happen. Sean told me you guys do a top notch job.
