I have them with the painted black centers and polished outer lips. I really like them, but now I am worried because I had them taken apart to be painted. The local high performance shop did this work and said they had proper torque specs......but now I don't know.

Damon, what is runout on the wheel??????

No, we are not painting these on the side.

They are still being made, the company that just bought them (Tanabe) just reduced their part number listings quite a bit. Breakage or demand was never an issue.

I still have 18 x 8.5/11.5 in silver. No more 19" will be produced for widebody 996.

Runout is side to side wobble you get from mis-torquing one section of the wheel during re-assembly, or if it's bent from a road hazard.

On a black car - I would go w/ red calipers, polished lip and gloss black centers. Big fan of GT3 wheels personally.
