Deputy,

Zeitronix has recently added an additional user programable input that can be programmed for any function, including a second AFR signal, making dual AFR monitoring an option now. This has only been available for a few months.

cpu77,

I have seen the Zeitronix and it is beautifully finished - like any other factory component. I actually bought one and then returned it because it was a lot of work to install and I didn't feel like dealing with it. Now that I am going through another uprade, I am going to install it when everything is apart.

bummer for me. my unit is too old i guess. now can you display it on the screen at the same time, or is it just veiwable while datalogging? mine can only display on the screen egt, boost, (1) afr, and egt.... the laptop display shows all sorts of stuff.

mine also had the option of an additional input, but i never could think of anything else to hook up to it. i wonder if i can do the dual afr thing too? the sensors aren't expensive. it would be nice to see both banks.

yes, it's a lot of work to put it in, but it's well worth it and it's a bargain compared to installing gauge packages that don't do much more than diplay real time values. i'm very happy with the Z unit. Not to mention it takes up a very small amount of dash space and the datalogging on the dyno is great. My install isn't terribly fancy (double sided taped to a blank storage bin plate) but it works and looks decent.

arizona: how are you going to have access to the reset button on the side of the unit with it flush mounted? it's nice to see the peak hold values and have the ability to reset it when doing runs without the laptop....

Deputy,

I am fairly certain that you can program your additional port for the second AFR sensor. On the older version, you had to choose to program it for the alarm or an additional monitor. Now it has both the alarm port and a programmable port.

I was under the impresion you could display the user input, but I am not sure about this. I thought it read "User1" or something like that on the display.

Deputy...bad news. I was just informed that I was misinformed. I spoke to Zeitronix and the user input they added will only read voltage, not AFR. The second O2 sensor for AFR would have to be connected to a separate ZT2 and read on a separate LCD. You can only monitor one O2 sensor at a time with the Zeitronix ZT2.

where did you mount the nav disk reader?

did you have to lengthen the wires, or do they reach to the new location?
