Help, headlights do not always fire

Sometimes I have to go a many of times from parking light position to headlight position to get the head lights to go on. Before I go to the dealer, does anyone know why my headlights sometimes do not fire the first time. Must be a bad switch or something,, thanks in advance (01 turbo)

If both headlights don't come on at the same time, it probably is the headlamp switch. Not that uncommon a problem.

I think its just not seated well. Pull it out clean the connector sides and slide it and lock it properly. It will lock into place youll hear it click.
