GT700. Does it need the internal mods?

Sharkwerks did my '03 TT w/ GT700 no internals. I put about 1000 track miles last year -- no probs w/ MAF and very reliable. Selling the '03 TT now and transferring all parts to '05 TT-S. Except this time, Sharkwerks is upgrading it to GT800 w/ built bottom end
