I have the EVO Stage 4 (the 600hp kit). I'm thinking of moving up to the 700, but don't like the idea of splitting the block.
Thanks,
Seth.

Joe and Mark made good points. No engine, built or otherwise, will withstand a driver that is a moron. Having said that, I will sleep better at night knowing I have the best of everything in the bottom end, but it does come at a cost. At these power levels, it is all about choices. This is my choice, it may not be yours. Kevin

I've had 2 GT700s, neither with internals. The most important thing is FUEL! Bad gas will hurt almost any high HP/boost motor. I always run at least 100 octane, it's a little more per gallon, but way cheaper than a motor build.
BTW, having internals, has no impact on whether the block would "split" or not, even with internals, you're still running a stock block. Internals keep you from bending rods, which are the weak point of the 996TT motor. I haven't worried about it though.

We only have 92 octane here. Jags in running a GT700, not sure he has located unleaded race fule around here or not.
I have a better question! hehehe... why would a guy need TWO GT700's? Dang.
