Keeping Gallardo,and selling turbo
I'm with Jasclass. I just don't like the looks of the Gallardo at all. I am not thrilled about the Murci but it is not the same vehicle as the 996tt. Money is not a huge factor and I choose the 996tt as my trackable sports car (Murci is not at ease on the track) that can also work well as a daily driver (thus no GT2, even though the E55 is usually my daily driver).

Murci = Italian Design, German Engineering
Gallardo = German Design/Engineering
If I could find a nice used Murci for $150k I'd buy one in a second, but I think the lowest they're trading for is around $200k.

I do luv the Murci or Diablo though and think that is a great choice for a w/e driver.

btw the Gallardo looks like a baby Murc. In fact its frequently mistaken for one in pictures and in person. So I dont know how you guys can say oh I love the looks of the Murc, but the Gallardo, eh, I dont like it.. discuss
I strongly suggest that before saying which cars you like best, go and drive one first.
As some of you already heard, I was possibly interested in getting a Gallardo and selling my TT. So I went and test drove a Gallardo. Great soundnice, interior was better then expected, the 6speed shifting I didn't like, not much room for the left foot on the driver side, revs to high, low torque.
So my conclusion was that it's a nice car but not worth 190K Stock. I gave the dealer a test drive in my TT and I think we both agreed that their was no comparison. The Gallardo to me was like driving a Honda S2000. You have to wait until you get to the high rpm range to enjoy the car. I prefer more torque.
But then again my car is far from stock, so not apple to apples.
my $.02

I doubt I'm the only one who would feel strange driving a lambo around town. Unlike Ellen,, I would get really sick of everyone staring at me and my car all the time. These cars just scream "HEY LOOK AT ME!!!" That's just not me ...
The Gallardo is a great car. This debate on whether it great or it sux has been discussed in many other threads "Ad Nauseum". Have a little respect for those that have them or are considering them in the future. I love Porsche's, but I am also an enthusiast that has respect and admiration for many other exotics than just Porsche...I would like to see how many people would keep their Porsche if they were offered a new Gallardo in an even trade...Guess the car isn't so ****ty after all
