^I don't deny that the Vette is quick, I don't see what the big deal is about it being quicker than a 911TT, it should be, 7.0L compared to a 3.6L, that's my only gripe, I could really careless

The Z06 is definitely a fire*******. Porsche could have given us 8,000 RPM and I would have been much happier. As it stands that 7 liter pushrod V8 revs to 7,000 RPM stock.
I was surprised that it was a 997TT. But why wouldn't the Z06 be faster? Same torque, same HP, no turbos (to lag), 400 lb less weight...
I agree Porsche needs to start whipping the engineers.. We WANT 8000 RPM. If Nissan could do it with the skyline a decade ago....
One thing is for sure, nobody wants the last model corvette. Yet all iterations of the turbo are desirable and hold their value.
