My Bet is that your shifter cable broke. It happened to me twice! I don't think the part is hard to change, but it may not be a part the dealer has in stock!

similar thing happened to me two weeks ago.

ended up needing a new shift gate, cables, and linkage.

parts and labor from dealer was $1500

it depends. i think in your case it is probably the linkage.

i could not enage any gears at all. the shifter was completelly disconnected.

If its that plastic linkage ... then your shifter should be on "limp mode" ...

My shifter is "limp" like a noodle. What part is the plastic linkage i need? Were you able to do it yourself?

You can either get another OEM piece ... or the billet piece ... I think EVOMS sells them ...

Do you have a OEM shifter or SSK? The center console and shifter assembly needs to come off ... it'll take 15-30 minutes ...

And you need a good rubber mallet to get the billet linkage in place.

Wow, this was awhile back. It turned out the shifter linkage to the transmission got disconnected. Stevensen Porsche charged me 200 for diag and 200 to click it back in. That was the last time i went to them.
