I have to admit I get a chuckle about Joe sig too.
I was pleasantly surprised when I met Joe, very easy guy to get along with.
I have to hand it to Joe in regards to his sharing of info and videos as well,
top notch contributions. It is no secret who my favorite tuner/builder is.
I have said it before and I will say it now. There are about (5) cars currently
under construction at Protomotive (although my car is currently there also,
it certainly is not part of this distinctive group), that will set new standards
of 996TT performance.
We all know that (2) Protomotive 996TT's have claimed 9 second quarter
miles already. We have not seen actual proof, so Joe is correct: they cannot
claim it until they prove it.

This is going to be fun!

Thanks for the kind words Marty. I have no problem giving credit, where credit is due. Markski seems to be on course to break many records with his mega-beast, that Protomotive tuned car seems to be incredible. All I ask for is proof of claims, that's all. I have made claims here before prior to posting proof and I am immediately showered with doubt and calls that scream "yeah right, prove it", when I did they were silenced. All I ask for is verification...is that too much to ask?

Just talked with VRAlex and he wanted me to give an update, his trailer is stuck in NM with a broken axle. He is in Atlanta testing his F40 and will be out with the Proto guys testing Mark's car tomorrow and will head to Houston after that. Hopefully his cars will be there when he gets there.

 

Luis - stuck with a broken axle, no problem, $200 and you're good to go. Tell Alex that if he shows up I have a SEVERAL THOUSAND dollar race lined up for him... Tell him NOT to back out, if need be I'll fly to NM and fix his trailer axle gets fixed!!!!!!

4 more days... Think my brothers Vette may make it out if we can convince him to not be a *****.

Peter we want to know if you would actually race the car? You and I could never agree on a fair race for either one of us, but my brothers DAILY DRIVEN Vette vs a 1002rwhp Supra from a roll should be fair (Both 6-speeds). It's the same black Vette Kareem raced when my brother was on motor. We need to know because we get back in town on Wednesday and need to know if we need to take it to Chris Ehrlich to put on the infamous MTI Supra Killer settings... We want to race you.. not anyone else.. Since you and I have always had a grudge against each other.

Cliffs: Black Vette wants to race PETER ONLY from a roll..

PS. I don't want this to sound like like I'm being stuck up or a dick. I don't have anything anymore to race you with (unless you just want to beat up on a stock TT ). If you do not want to race this weekend, I can understand. Your going to be a busy person setting this all up. I am sure we could do it somewhere/sometime. We had fun with Chris's car (the car that shot across 3 lanes almost in the TX2K6 video) and my brother's car is a tiny bit meaner

Sorry about that Alex, LOL! I didn't want to register on SupraForums and I know he was checking this thread. I just want this to be a friendly thing.. I don't want a bunch of internet smack talk. I'll be there at the dyno day regardless and we can talk about it.

I can't wait to see your GT2. If Peter agrees we will be following behind for everything (lol or ahead ). This event is going to be bad *** this year.
