it's the same kit...
and mansour's price is right market price...
for the price i was told, i doubt it'll be happening again...

the reason why rear is 345 instead of 355 is b/c 345 actually works better than 355...and that's why it's later introduced...
dunno why...but that's what brembo said...

They told me the opposite...The bigger was introduced cause initial tests had so much front brake bias that slamming the brakes would cause the car's nose to hit the ground HARD!!!

Mansour, when you purchased your kit the 13.6" was barely introduced. The reason that the 13.6" rear is more favorable, is because it firms up the pedal.

The diference in brake torque between the 14" and the 13.6" is minimal. The purpose is to restore the modulation and pedal feel. The front 8-piston requires alot more fluid to move, the 13.6" rear has smaller pistons and is a better match for the master cylinder.

Dont feel bad about the price you paid either. Kevin seems confident with this group by but I am even more sure now that this will not happen.

If any one is curious, feel free to call any of the dealers that advertise on this board and ask them what they sell this kit for. The price Kevin mentioned is ridicously low. I was a Brembo dealer for over a year and I got decent pricing and it was not as low as Kevin is stating.
I dont think it is his fault but whoever is claiming to support this GB either quoted incorrect pricing or is playing the "wishfull thinking" game.

Brembo understands the value of protecting their dealers. They will not drop there price for a one time deal on 5 or more kits.

i know it's ridiculously low... that's why i'm sharing it here...
and i do trust my source on this... since he's getting a kit for his car as well... and our relationship is good to an extend that i can back up his statement...
like if anyone does lose money on this, i can write him a check personally... =_="

sigh... i guess i should probably call this off...

I just started to read this one. The discs are cheap. It is the calipers that get real expensive. The real Le Mans GT3 RS calipers are about $2,500.00 apiece. Second the system is full floating. Not something many people will use on the road due to it's life between replacements.

Last, I don't know of any major race team that uses eight piston calipers.

Why, because some cynic is discouraging you? Never let small minded people get in your way. You are a bright guy with good intentions.

The RS6s from the ALMS circuit use Alex and Alex' exact brake setup and those are 8s...

It is my understanding that although the eight piston calipers have two more calipers, they are alot smaller. They do not have the grip of the racing six piston calipers.
