I have a small scratch on the door of my artic silver 996 TT that I made the mistake of trying to cover up with touch up paint. That only made it worse. Any recommendations for where to get this repaired? I'm in So Calif - LA or Ventura County locations preferred.

Try calling Lucent Motors. They are vendor on the right hand. He uses a great painter for his parts and cars. I personally know.

if its a small scratch which doesnt require a repaint Call any of those mobile guys...
you can ask any local dealer which one they use.

 

My friend who used to work at By Design said they had a guy come in who would use a paint brush to professionally fill the scratch and even add a layer of clear coat. Not sure how much this would cost but might be worth researching.

 

Whatever happened to By Design anyway?

 

Artic silver is a hard color to touch up. It tends to go darker with the touch up paint.
