Atiwe makes the steering wheels for FVD... and from what I understand..a lil while ago EVOMS buys the FVD wheels and voila... EVOMS sticker... well lets not forget the very decent profit margin...

I really like that wheel. I think it does need a Porsche Crest though. Any chance on a group buy on something like this? Whats the least expensive someone has found it for?

I can't disclose the price I paid because I have a relationship with Evo that gives me dealer pricing. (I developed their web site) The wheels are imported by FVD but there may be other options if there is interest in a group buy. I have an OEM Porsche Crest that I will be afixing to the wheel when it is installed. The little FVD/EVO crest at the bottom comes right off with no mark.

Ari - I would love to see the Limited Edition. Send me the pic and I will host/post it.

Hey captain, which model do you have, I just ordered the silver/black one and am hoping the logo also comes off without any marks.
I am also gonna put on a silver crest and cover the airbag with leather so the crest can sit flush and get rid of the cheap plastic look of the airbag.

I ordered the same one shown in the pic above. Evo told me the emblem comes right off. I am curious how you will wrap the airbag. I have a OEM crest (Gold, couldn't find Silver) that I want to affix. I like the idea of a leather wrap to seat the crest. Is the air bag really plastic?

I have the original silver crest and a fake one that has a smooth finish that are seen on the wheel center caps I have in the above link.
Gemballa is selling the original ones (same as the ones in the ralphe boothe caps) on ebay for something like 4 for $300.
I think I am actually gonna use the fake one though since it is alittle bigger and actually looks nicer to me. There is a guy selling them on ebay for $15 shipped.
The standard airbag on the raid/atiwe wheel looks to be vinyl.
I think it shouldnt be that hard to cover the wheel with leather and cut a place for the crest which is a few mm thick so the crest will sit flush with the new leather.
