Steering Wheel Options.....

Hey guys I'm in need of some info, advice and guidence . Coming from a nice thick soft small steering wheel in my former E46 M3, the stock steering wheel for the 996TT is kind of a let down. It's skinny, hard, and big (no pun intended haha ) I would like one with a smaller circumference, alot thicker. What are my options? FVD makes some nice steering wheels and I was personally thinking of these three :

https://shop.fvd.de/?VID=58025&VCD=2...Body=&CarYear=
https://shop.fvd.de/?VID=58025&VCD=2...Body=&CarYear=
https://shop.fvd.de/?VID=58025&VCD=2...Body=&CarYear=

Are there any other companies who make steering wheels or is it just FVD? Can't seem to find any other ones. Thanks in advance I'm sure you guys will come up with great suggestions as always!!

I too came from an E46 M3 and found the OEM 996TT wheel to be somewhat ... disappointing. I would call Rhonda @ FVD for the 340mm Daytona ... dont forget to ask about the "limited edition" airbags

The standard is FVD airbag is vinyl or something material... I dunno really, its a lil extra the leather airbag....in my opinion just looks better...not to mention the "limited edition" etched emblem. I suppose I should post pictures ... I've been making promises.. LOL

I agree 100%. I would jump from my M3 cab to the turbo, and think that the Porsche's steering wheel felt too big and skinny. I ended up getting a carbon wheel, selling the M, and do not have anything to compare to now.

I Love the FVD wheel CF for me...I put a custom leather airbag cover on with stitched Porsche emblem (nobody else likes it).

Definately post pictures guys, cuz not only will it help me but maybe someone else down the road. Right now I'm going to for whole silver/black theme in my interio this is one I'm going with the aluminum look instead of the CF look. Right now I'm leaning towards the second wheel I posted thats leather with the Aluminum piece on the bottom. Reminds me of the Euro RS4 steering wheel in my friends RS4 lol I also dont want to go overkill on the aluminum just nice and subtle!!

The Porsche one is nice but only comes in Black. I have Graphite Grey so I'd like to find someone to recover my stock wheel with padding and thicker feel. Anyone know of a good upholstery source?
