now I just need to change my temperature gauges surround to carbon instead of stock plastic to look good...^__^

You have one of the hottest 996 turbo's around, but why no turbo shifter. SO MUCH BETTER LOOKING? That would just finish the whole look off....

is it just a function of the flash that the gauge surround looks much more like a checkerboard than the rest of the carbon fiber?

the carbon surround is aftermarket made...^_^
the pattern is not exactly the same as the stock ones...that's why...

I like the thinner non turbo carbon shifter much better than the fat turbo shifter. The turbo shifter looks out of proportion.
