After reading the thread about all the guys running 10 second quarter miles in Arizona it got me to thinking. How awesome is a modded 996 tt? You can run 10 seconds in the quarter mile, take it to the roadcourse and outrun all but dedicated race cars and still have daily reliability!

Not too many cars that can do all of that! I love this car!

I have a 996 TT sitting at my shop right now for sale. Everyday I look at it, it takes all my heart not to sell the M5 and jump right back in the TT. Its almost identicle to my old one......... tough call.

Very true, but it takes half the horsepower to make an old timey live axle car run a ten!

Yes but it wouldn't do anything on the roadcourse and certainly wouldn't be as fun to drive on a daily basis.
