I've sold my wheels since (getting a new car) and since I've gone back to stock I'm very relieved and have no worries anymore when I drive ... almost care free, it feels good!!

Dario,
Thank you for your honesty. That is really what I am looking for. Texas doesn't even have bad street either compared to Chicago. If they bend that easily, I better stay clear of HRE's, although to be honest, HRE 542's were the front runner. I am leaning toward Techarts, but, they are all gone in the USA. BBS apparently stopped manufacturing wheels for Techart. Techart is looking for a new manufacturer, so none are currently in production. I heard they are 2-3 months away.

My personal shoe requirements on a 911:
1) Must have a lip, but not necessarily a reverse-drop design. The double-lipped wheels actually look racier and "fuller" than the reverse-drop designs that seem so popular these days (possibly stronger?).
2) Must be either a classic five-spoke or have the oft copied BBS Yspoke mesh center.
Out of all your choices, the ROH's look the cleanest, but a set of BBSs would be my choice for such a racy car like the 911. If more into the bling, a set of HRE 545s will do just fine. Gotta go 19s!
Good luck,
Ben

Another thing to remember is that Fred's car has exterior enhancements that make it stand out much more than a standard Turbo. It looks awesome!! However, my car is black so remember that when you guys are making suggestions, silver cars often look better with certain wheels compared to black ones. Also the aforementioned exterior mods make Fred's car look soooooo hot and they work perfectly with those rims. My car is the plain vanilla black car, that will be lowered, maybe a stosek wing, 19's, and that's it.

His concern about the Big Lip is the Chicago Roads. While trying to avoid a pot hole in Chicago, you might run over another one or a sewer plate. The Roads SUCK. Lou, Think Monoblock. PES might be a good choice. Same with Techarts, and Sportecs.
Reason why I went with HRE's is because my car will be shipped to FL after the national meet. I had 20" Rears and 19" fronts on my old lingenfelter, and I went thru 2 sets of front rims, and one right rear rim. Each pot hole costed $1000.00 approx. I was so aware and used to it, that when I go over certain bumps or potholes, I can tell from inside the car if it was a rimbuster or not.
3 Piece and NYC / Chicago is not a good match.

The price should be like $3500-$4000 tops for a one piece wheel, standard finish, no lip!! **** my price from Arling(lucent motors) for the Techarts is $2800 and change!!
