OK... I see where you are. Turn the plenum until the filter "sits" properly.

That would be excellent Rock, if you could send some higher e pics over of that area!

It looks like Don has an odd job, or the plenum is pushed round to far, can it be possibly attached somewhere else by mistake that is a few inches further round the engine?

 

Update: after fighting with it for a while I was able to twist and turn it to line up ok and get the airbox in. I still need to pull the hoses down a bit and push it towards the front of the car. Thanks a lot for the pics ROCK!

I would still like to get a smaller filter in there and get rid of the large indent in the plenum. I am going to check the fittings on the stock filter and see what will work.

 

Please let me know if you change the filter (to a smaller one) how it goes.
I might do that aswell.

rock your filter is way higher than mine . mine seems to ride more to the left it is tied down however ...
