Calbobba, your cage looks seriously cool, but would be illegal for any series I'm aware of. Have you passed tech anywhere, or do you (like me) only do club track days?

crazy1323 is infamous around these parts
where the lights are seems like a huge weakness in the cage. I think that would crumple and cause a serious hazard. The cage seems very, very well engineered except for the place near the lights.

Jeff, the front part of the cage is just for looks, the roll bar is functional.
i have never tried to pass any tech. Lately i do track days in the EVO.

The entire Tequipment boltin rollcage is for looks alone.

mine came off the gt3. i like it alot, its clean and stands out alot!

The one with the cross brace weighs 29 lbs. including the bolt-in hardware. Someone else already posted the price.

Does the Tequipment w/out X-Brace actually provide any protection? I use my rear seats occasionally and am looking for a good looking AND hopefully functional cage without a X Brace... Any recommendations?

Boltin cages offer little protection. If you want protection then get a six point welded cage made up.
