To restate my opinion, using G-Tech, GPRS or any other predictors of a quarter mile time are not looked on as equivalent to an actual timeslip. It's a different world when you're on track and looking at the tree, with VHT, crowds, competitors and all the rest to contend with.
As for your manners, maybe where you grew up calling someone an ******* on the internet is an acceptable way of expressing your opinion when you disagree with them.
MrBlonde,
I hope eveyone knows the G Tech and units like it always make your times look better. Same goes for Radar guns and GPS's. The GPS does give the most accurate top speed however.
It is best to compare quarter mile strip times against quarter mile strip times conducted on the same day because track and weather conditions will cause times to vary.
As for "bad form," I disagree. Sharkster stated he was using the G Tech in this particular instance just like in other instances he stated which drag strip he was running. People can take the information and make their own evaluations.

MrBlonde, I was pointing out it was a G-Tech for the same reason. It's not known to be bullet-proof in terms of accuracy, which is why I go to the drag strip here and run those times and mph to make sure. I've posted numerous videos to that effect also.

As for my "internet" manners....
Perhaps the bigger question should be..... What kind of shampoo or conditioner should I be using MrBlonde?
Hey admin.....can I change my user name to MrBrunette?
Sorry....Only pick'n.
