need advice
what parts are actually needed for a 996 turbo motor rebuild??
1. rods
2. pistons
3. bearings
4. gaskets
5. sleeves?
6. valves?
why dont people build 3.8 liter kits
Please help

Its not a full motor rebuild or anything just a piston and cylider kit

It jsut dawned on me... call Rhonda at FVD they have the 3.8 liter kit and the dealer in houston they have does the installs...

The Fvd Kit?? Are Those Gaskets Good For The Gt 700 + Horsepower... If Not I Need Stronger Components... Still Not Recieved Any Thing From Evoms... Mike I Called You And Left A Voice Message??

You also need head bolts and special head gaskets, some machine work, GT3R oil pump and everything balanced and preassembled then checked and assembled. FWIW I also have a 4.0 liter set.

That is 60 Hours of work. I also am a freak when it comes to building motors, I have a clean room, steamers etc. It has to be one way when I do motors. If I had the motor here I could bang it now in a week, but out of my element is almost impossiable.
