Its not a full motor rebuild or anything just a piston and cylider kit

It jsut dawned on me... call Rhonda at FVD they have the 3.8 liter kit and the dealer in houston they have does the installs...

You also need head bolts and special head gaskets, some machine work, GT3R oil pump and everything balanced and preassembled then checked and assembled. FWIW I also have a 4.0 liter set.

That is 60 Hours of work. I also am a freak when it comes to building motors, I have a clean room, steamers etc. It has to be one way when I do motors. If I had the motor here I could bang it now in a week, but out of my element is almost impossiable.

Choose one..not both. Speaking from experience, this is an undertaking that needs to be thought out and planned in advance. What are the power goals? What is the redline? Can you grow with this engine into a larger kit in the future. Do it right, and do it once.. Kevin
