Problem installing Baileys DV30
PROBLEM installing Baileys DV30 from Carnewal
I bought a pair of "Bailey Diverter Valves for P96 Turbo" for my Turbo a while ago.Now I have left my car at my dealer to install them.
Today he phones me telling me that there is a problem with the space around/above the valves, especially the rear one.
The problem is the nipple at the top. Since it is pointing straight up there is almost no room for the small hose.
The hose gets folded very tight.
If the nipple had been in 90 degrees angle like in this instruction there wouldn't be any problem.

Is there anyone here who recognize this problem??

They should be able to swap those out. All the need to do is match the threads and try to find the 90degree elbow version of that valve fitting. I have them on my car and, although I didn't do the install (On the car when I bought it), there's plenty of room in there...

I have the same, you need 90 degree connection. Call www.baileymotorsport.co.uk they will send you one.

Thanks!
I've talked to Gert at Carnewal ..who by the way says that he never heard of this problem before(?)...and he now has sent this question on to Bailey Motorsport. I just hope that I get a answer soon..

If you look at the top of your valve it looks like the connection would unscrew and you could just pop a 90degree elbow in there instead, this is not difficult at all, bread and butter!
Yeah...I know, but since he insists on saying that I'm his only customer with this problem I first need to prove he's wrong...
If i just get the 90 degrees nipples I can swop then out myself.

But didn't you buy yours from Gert at Carnewal also?
He tells me that he never had this problem with any customer before..
How did you get your 90 degree conections?
