Any of you Long Island guys have any opinion of Roslyn Porsche. My friend is ordering a Turbo cab. and spoke to them but I don't know anything about them. I know there's a new owner but anyone know any reason to stay away.

 

I have not bought from them but know they are trying to make a name for themselves under new ownership. I'd guess your friend's experience there should be pretty good and their service should also be good.

 

I ordered mine there.

 

Thanks, I know they used to have great service before but I have not heard anything since it was taken over. Are they selling Turbo's and GT3's at sticker?

 

Huntington Porsche has been my dealer, but i heard what Jim said, they are trying to start out with a fresh reputation, not sure what to tell you though!

 

He's telling my friend he can have a Turbo Cab. whenever he wants one even though he hasn't received his allocation. Maybe he doesn't have any other deposits for the Cab., anyway thanks for the info.

iLLM3- I'll let you know when I the GT3 and we'll go for a ride. Don't think I've seen your GT2 on he roads around LI, I'm always looking for Turbo's that look like they have been modified.

 

Yea i only drove the RUF a few times so far since i got it, had no time to put on mileage for inspection then my temp reg was up, and with recent weather it was w/e... Surprised you didnt see my Turbo last summer or last year out, i was all over in it

Let me know, we could have a little fun, go for a drive or whatever

Yea i know all about it LOL, i use to be a speed demon years and years ago, street runs and so on/ Ever since i built my M3 up, then moved on up and i guess matured/became more busy i just started to relax with driving and hardly every drive fast anymore, until a track day or exotic run that is

 

Yes that's what i mean. There's a few roads up north that work but not for anything too crazy. My friend does runs with a bunch of Ferrari and Lambo guys and he says sometimes the cops escort them when it's for charity so I told him count me in for this year. Sometimes they do runs out to the Hamptons, should be fun.

 

Yea i went on most of them last summer, i'll keep you updated whenever im about to go on a run or trackday, but keep me updated for when you get your GT3

BTW check out Ferrarichat/NY section, that's where most of the Exotic Run/Hampton's/Captree runs are started, great bunch of guys!

Yeah, I hear it's fun. Where do you go for a trackday, Limerock? I'll keep you posted on the GT3.
