I FINALLY got my car back from the dealer!!!!
As some of you know my 996TT broke down almost 1 MONTH ago, and the dealer kept saying it was the upgraded computer. I knew it was fuel related. I TOLD them to start there. 1st they said that it was gunk in the line, then the fuel filter, then it was the fuel pump, then the regulator, then the injectors and finally fuel rails.
WELL, last night I had to FAX over the Porsche parts manual showing how the fuel lines ran. Today I get a call that the car is fixed!!
I asked what the heck was wrong with it. The service advisor said that the mechanic that put the fuel pump in (VERY 1st thing they did), put the fuel lines back on BACKWARDS!!!!!
So now I have a NEW fuel pump, regualtor, fuel filter, injectors and fuel rails.
It never amazes me with some dealers.

This dealer is about 20 miles away, the next one is about 75 miles away. So I am screwed!!!! I have to just suck it up.

I can't believe that!
