OCTurbo is infamous around these parts
ssk

Was the porsche short shifter kit ever a factory option on the 996tt or was it always just an aftermarket item? Is the porsche ssk identical to the b&m? I've heard that there is a subtle difference, but have not been able to confirm this.

I have the Porsche Short Shift...alittle notchy to me.
I tried my friends 04' GT3 shifter. Felt perfect...
Longer throw but not notchy at all. Some where between stock and SS.

I got my SSK from Brandywine a few months back. I was told that the B & M was very similar but since I had the dealership do the work they used OEM parts and it didn't mess with my warrranty. Considering all these 2nd gear pop out issues, I didn't want to give the dealership any cause to blame one thing on another if anything happened.

Same unit, just red instead of blue and in the housing. We sellthe units for less than 200.00. It takes 2 hours to put it in. I think the SSK is 400?
