I just upgraded from a Carrera 4 Coupe to a black 996 TT coupe (all stock).
What an amazing difference. I thought I knew what a fast car was, until I pointed that Turbo at the horizon and put my foot down.

This is what warp speed must feel like...

I can only imagine what a stage 4 conversion does...

I found a nice one-owner California car with only one drawback: the tan leather interior has the dark burr wodd trim and it's cracking all over the place.

Any recommendations on a reasonably-priced way to clean up the interior?
I looked at the suncoast Porsche prices for the dark burr wood trim. That's not what I would call reasonably priced.

I appreciate any and all feedback.

Congrats and welcome to the crazy house! I would replace the wood with carbon fiber, it would look killer!

Enjoy the new TT, I am in the same boat with you.

As far as interior - You could do color matched interior from Eric @ bumper plugs or carbon but that get very pricey.....

Thanks for the feedback.
I will have a look at the Speed Gallery and Bumper Plugs to see what my options are.

Wood are not belongs to any 911, either paint them or replace with CF!

Agreed, the CF interior is nice, but keep it out of the sun, cause it will do the same and worse than the wood interior.
