so there is ur spike... 1.3 bars and ur dip which is between 1.3 and 1.1 bars.
if u set it right it should just stay 1.2 bars. Ideally u want 1.25 bars steady.
with the upgraded actuators it should drop liek that form 1.3 to 1.1 bars...
thats why u have upgraded actuators... so it keeps the boost where u want it.

Also, what fuel were u running?

93 octane, texaco.

Yeah, I think you are right - the drop in boost from 1.3 to 1.1 would explain the dip in the graph. I'll try to replicate it on the street tonight and then see if I can get the actuators adjusted in the next day or two.

Just so I know what to look for... should I never see 1.3 on the gauge if it's set correctly? Max 1.2 and holding steady?

You should NOT see 1.3.

the dyno probably didnt mimic load so the dips wouldnt occur in the street. Just a thought

Can someone please explain the correct procedure for calibrating the EVO actuators? What is the pressure tester you mention?

Pull off the boost hoses, connect a pump, and start pumping at 12 PSI you should see the rod start to move. If it doesn't, loosen it until it does.

Rinse and repeat.

You will know TB shut down on the street when it happens. I had that situation when my car was a GT640. Top of 4th @ 1.3+ bar and WHAM! The braking effect of the TB shut down throws you hard against the chest strap of your seat belt. Hit it 2-3 times and it will go into limp mode. I believe Mark is correct - although I believe you should dail your nuts back more than 1/2 turn. I'd loosen your nuts 1.5 - 2.0 full turns and test there. Move up in 1/2 turn increments to bring back the boost. Good Luck.

IMO you should hold 1.2 and see 1.3 spikes...so you are at about 1.25 as Mark points out.
