For all you Mass. people, just wanted to share with all of you that I had a great experience and service at Ira Porsche tonight. Had a few things that needed to be checked on my Turbo and called Alfie Desfosses there to see if he could set me up with an appointement ASAP. I had met Alfie through 6speed recently and although Fridays are usually one of the busiest days of the week, Alfie was very courteous and helpful and promised that my car would be worked on tomorrow, even on such late notice!! Alfie is a true Porsche enthusiast as well and if anyone is ever looking for an honest and enthusiastic salesman, give Alfie a call (978) 624-1211! Kudos to Ira Porsche and Alfie Desfosses!

 

Thats's great to hear - I actually have been working with Alfie and his dealership might become a sponsor which means great deals for 6speeders

From what I gather and our conversations they are really good people

 

Alfie's a great guy who ultimately will have market prices on 04 GT2's before anyone else, because he gets it.

but even ALfie's prices dont compete with the great deals from honest guys you find on 6speed. i actually bought my last slate GT2 from a guy on 6. checked him out, guy like me. mailed him a cheque. he loaded car. car as rep'd. both live happily ever after.

this is a village [w/o Hillary thank God] and it's delightful to find how solid and gentlemanly the members are when you write big cheques for cars unseen 3000 miles away.

Watt I had no clue you bought the GT2 from another Member - that's fantastic that we can do this. I know of a bunch of you guys that have sold there cars to other members and everyone is happy - I am in the process of buying a members car as well ....... good to keep them in the family sort a speak

I second that opinion, although I suspect that some people out there may think we are shilling for Alfie

 

DEETZ: The Turbo was actually from a dealer out in the West Coast. You should try Ira for service, theyre very different from Chambers!

Alfie is great!! I met him at a concours last summer in MA as we both had silver X50 aerokit cars
I will definitely buy my next porsche from him.
Also, Alfie always likes to help whenever he can...I recently just ordered car covers for my dad's A8L here and Alfie took care of everything for me. Service at its best
