Can anyone explain the time on the slip? It looks like 0.39962. Was this a standing start mile like the Texas? Time wouldn't be that slow, would it?

i think that is the amount of time in seconds that it took for the car to travel the last 132 ft. that is how they measure speed at these events, with timing lights. the actual speed on gps at the exact mile finish line is closer to 228 mph.

he is 12 yrs. old and had a tripod that wasnt set up to pan. i thought the kid did a good job given what he had to work with. man, you are tough to please! there will be a much better video coming in a few weeks.

I was going to say, that is without a doubt the worst recording i have ever seen, i would rather him hold the camera in a hurricane than that

****e! That's cool. Will any of our big HP cars be involved in one of these 1 mile flyer cometitions? Gearing and rev limiter must be very important.
